On Sunday 12 July, Beachouse Ibiza, Manu San Félix and Asociación Vellmarí host A Night for the Sea, an evening for the Mediterranean’s posidonia. Choose how to join the night for the sea:
Posidonia oceanica is not a seaweed: it is a flowering plant endemic to the Mediterranean. Its meadows produce most of the sea’s oxygen and are home to hundreds of species.
Uncontrolled anchoring, pollution and climate change have destroyed entire meadows. What takes millennia to grow can vanish in decades.
Adopting a plant helps restore the Mediterranean
Make your adoption on this page. Secure card or PayPal payment. No hassle.
The Vellmari team restores degraded underwater areas along the Mediterranean coast.
You receive an adoption certificate and updates on your plant’s status.

Every euro raised goes entirely to Vellmari’s restoration operations, scientific monitoring and environmental outreach.
Beachouse Ibiza is a Mediterranean beach club that beats to the rhythm of the sea. With “A Night for the Sea” it opens its doors on 12 July alongside Manu San Félix and Vellmarí: dinner, photography and marine conservation, with one clear goal — to bring the Mediterranean’s posidonia meadows back to life. Together, businesses and citizens, we can give back to the Mediterranean what we have taken from it.

Beachouse Ibiza stands up for the Mediterranean: one night to celebrate it, adopt posidonia and unite everyone who loves the sea.
