On 12 July, Beachouse Ibiza brought together friends, neighbours and sea lovers for a charity evening in support of Posidonia restoration in Talamanca Bay, organised with Asociación Vellmarí and hosted by Raquel Sánchez Silva. The dinner raised €30,000

“For the sea. For the future. For Ibiza.” With those words projected over the sand of Platja d’en Bossa, A Night for the Sea took place on Sunday 12 July 2026: the charity evening that Beachouse Ibiza organised in support of our work with Posidonia oceanica.

An evening with the sea at its heart

Hosted by Raquel Sánchez Silva, the evening combined a charity dinner of Mediterranean dishes to share with everything we love to tell about the sea: an underwater photography exhibition by Manu San Félix, National Geographic Explorer and founder of Vellmarí, a talk on the marine ecosystems of Ibiza and Formentera, screenings, live music, a charity raffle and a book signing.

The tables were named after local coves and every guest received a Beachouse × Vellmarí wristband. Between courses, the sea was the topic of conversation.

The photocall

Before sitting down to dinner, guests stopped by the evening’s photocall.

€30,000 for Posidonia

The dinner raised €30,000. The money goes to planting Posidonia in Talamanca Bay, Ibiza, as part of our restoration, conservation and education project: planting, caring for what has been planted and teaching the next generations why these meadows sustain life in the Mediterranean.

Thank you

Thank you to Beachouse Ibiza and Island Hospitality for opening their home to us and putting the sea at the centre of the table. Thank you to everyone who came, bought a raffle ticket or stayed to listen. Every gesture that night becomes meadow.
